cordelia tee
The Cordelia Tee is a boxy tee with chevron filet detailing across the chest and shoulders. With tiny little zig-zag sleeves, this cute tee is a super wearable, breathable and fun addition to your handmade wardrobe. The classic boat neck and deep sleeve holes makes this top a great make for wearing throughout Summer.
Cordelia is made from two rectangles with a simple (and addictive) filet pattern with sleeves worked directly onto the body for minimal seaming. It’s worked with treble (UK) double crochet (US) stitches and chains, so it makes the ideal garment for beginners and experienced crocheters alike. It’s designed to be made with cotton, but any plant-based yarn will achieve a similar drape.
This top can be made as long or as short as you wish and the pattern includes instructions for you to customise the length. (Note: adding or removing length will affect the amount of yarn required)
It is an intermediate pattern, but I encourage confident beginners to have a go!
Bust sizes given as XS (S/M, L/XL, 2X/3X, 4X/5X): 74 (99, 124, 148, 172) cm, requiring 445 (590, 773, 970, 1182) metres of DK-weight yarn. I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Pistachio Green for my sample.
This pattern is available in both UK & US terminology so you don’t have to translate stitches!
